Our Christmas themed workshops are a great way of getting even more from your day and give you the opportunity to try something new. You’ll come away with a finished piece to keep and be proud of.
Under 16’s can take part/ book onto a workshop but require adult supervision

CHRISTMAS DOOR WREATH
Come and immerse yourself in the traditional craft of Christmas Door Wreath making!
Nicola of Jasmine Flowers will demonstrate and guide you through creating your very own Christmas wreath to be proud of! Your work of art will be made from moss, the traditional, more sustainable method, and filled with natural materials, such as sumptuous foliage, berries, pine cones and scented dried fruits.
These 2 hours and 30 minute workshops are available every day, running on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th November at 1.15pm.

WILLOW STAR DECORATION
What better way to get festive than weave a star to adorn your home this Christmas. Beginner friendly techniques using Somerset grown willow. Your ticket price includes a small set of fairy lights so your star can shine bright.
These 2 hour workshops are available on Saturday & Sunday (only) at 10.15am

BEADED CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATION
Make your very own hand-embroidered and beaded Christmas decoration, with tutor Imogen, from Imogen Melissa. Learn how to embroider with beads and frame up your bead work into a miniature embroidery hoop. By the end of the session, you will have your very own handmade decoration ready to hang on your Christmas tree!
This is a great mini-make for total beginners as Imogen will be on hand to guide you through the whole process. While also offering seasoned crafters an introduction to the world of beaded embroidery.
This 1 hour workshop is available on Friday (only) at 2.00pm & 3.15pm

Get into the festive spirit by creating a personalised greeting card using Modern nib calligraphy.
Join our Christmas Calligraphy Card Making Class and discover wonderful ways to create enchanting holiday greetings using a pointed nib, vibrant ink and a touch of sparkling metallics. Beginner level & all materials are provided. Take your finished Christmas cards away with you.
The Modern Calligraphy Co, run by world renowned calligraphic artist Kirsten Burke and Managing Director Jill Hembling, has been running for 25 years, spreading their passion for Modern Calligraphy across the UK. Dedicated to making calligraphy accessible to everyone, they run workshops all over the country and online.
